NuTty is nearly done with waiting for this newest of her children to be born, and opinions vary (amongst her medical professionals) on how long until she should give birth. She herself is more than ready, but who knows when the actual labor part will start? Itapos;s certainly developmentally acceptable for that baby to drop any time now (if the "drop" part has happened, I donapos;t know, but I wonapos;t go in to medical details). Iapos;ve told her that all she has to do is call me and Iapos;ll stop whatever Iapos;m doing and go up there to help out in whatever way will be most helpful. (I anticipate household upkeep and helping with TheLittlePrince, her almost-20 month old.) Every time my phone rings, Iapos;m expecting it to be her. *grin* I have some things I should put in the car for the next time I go up there... Oh heck, I took the subway, so if they called now it would take a few hours to get up there... Not like she needs me to hold her hand or anything, two hours shouldnapos;t be a problem...

I havenapos;t knitted anything for this new child. Maybe I should finish up the thing Iapos;m working on and then really concentrate my efforts on a something. She requested a Viking hat, with braids and horns, and I looked at patterns but wasnapos;t really taken with them. I donapos;t know that such a project is high on her list of needs right now, but I could check for a little later. I could also try a less ambitious blanket than last time... Hrm... Time to gather all my supplies again and see what I have and what I might want and all that.

Vivir en residencias es como seguir viviendo con tus padres s�lo que sin tener que pedir permisos para salir. Aqu� te recogen tu cuarto, no te preocupas por cuentas de agua, luz, cable o internet, se vive bien, si olvidas por un momento que los �nicos residentes que tienen hora de llegada y obligaci�n que registrar entrada en la recepci�n, son las mujeres, pero de eso hablemos luego.

Lo verdaderamente chocante son las ni�as que entraron este semestre que no tienen la menor idea de lo que es vivir con otras personas que no sean quienes te recogen el desorden. Ha habido problemas de: extintores abiertos por estar aburridas un s�bado en la tarde cuya consecuencia fue que una chica de quinto semestre casi se intoxica. Ba�os que apestan porque o bien deciden orinar en la regadera o vomitan todo el ba�o.
Pero como esto no me afect� directamente, ninguno ocurrio en mi piso, no habia escrito sobre ello hasta el timbre.

Resulta que al lado de la puerta del edificio hay un timbre que usan los de mantenimiento para avisar cuando entran, bueno pues en lo que va del semestre me ha tocado oir el timbre en la madrugada, de manera tan insistente que s�lo puede ser una broma, porque qui�n puede pedir que le abran a las 4 o 5 de la ma�ana. Pero nunca pens� que fuera por que las ni�as llegan del antro a las 4 de la ma�ana, apenas si se sostienen y no pueden marcar el codigo de la puerta, pero en su estado no se les ocurre que en vez de despertar a TODO el edificio podrian regresar a la recepci�n para que uno de los de seguridad les marque el c�digo.

Tl;dr Ni�atas ebrias me despiertan a las 4 de la ma�ana porque son incapaces de abrir la puerta y no se les ocurre llamar al personal� de seguridad para que les abra y ahora no puedo dormir.
